These gorgeous, mid-weight Turkish towels are made from raw Turkish cotton and handwoven on traditional 100-year old shuttle looms in historic Turkey.

Ethically and sustainably made in small batches, this towel releases a beautiful texture once laundered, while becoming softer and more absorbent with every wash. Featuring a sleek duo-chromatic design, this neutral staple in our collection is an Oddbird fan favorite sporting bold charcoal stripes against a cool cream base.

We believe in buying less and using more, with our Turkish towels being the greatest representation of this sustainability practice. Our Turkish towels are not only designed to be a functional bath/poolside towel, but are also a perfect breastfeeding cover, sarong over swimwear, tablecloth, light blanket and/or shawl.

Please note: All of our handwoven textiles are washed in a traditional Turkish soap right off the loom, removing any natural allergens from the weaving process and leaving behind our signature Oddbird scent. It’s a warm, grounding aroma that’s become part of who we are for a decade. That said, if you’re scent-sensitive, a gentle soak in a baking soda and vinegar bath for a few hours, followed by a wash and delicate dry, will remove the fragrance and kick off the breaking-in process, bringing your OB towel and/or robe closer to peak softness and absorbency.
